Like most metropolitan areas, San Diego has its share of environmentalists or at least people who consider themselves environmentalists. But are they active environmentalists? With such great weather and so much fun stuff to do all over town, it's pretty easy to just pay a membership fee to an environmental group and try really hard to recycle and, of course, buy organic. The San Diego Bay Council is a coalition of environmental organizations, led by some truly extraordinary people, dedicated to the protection and restoration of regional coastal waters in the San Diego....

- Vote!
- Tell your friends about LCVSD and LCVSD-endorsed candidates
- 'Walk the Talk' by volunteering for LCVSD-endorsed candidates. Walking precincts, phone-banking, or providing office help can often make the difference in a campaign!
- Volunteer for LCVSD. As a fully volunteer organization, we rely on our supporters for help with general office work, marketing and media expertise, web design, accounting services and many other activities.
- Support LCVSD and LCVSD-endorsed candidates with a donation
- Host a house-party for LCVSD or LCVSD-endorsed candidates
- Contact your elected representatives and let them know you expect them to 'vote green'
