LCVSD 2005 Political Endorsements |
Elections List & Results |
The Endorsement ProcessOne of the major tools that LCVSD uses to elect environmentally responsible candidates is the candidate endorsement. Critical to the endorsement process is its vigilant non-partisan and fair administration. After Chapters have selected target races, each viable candidate in that race that answers the LCVSD questionnaire is afforded the opportunity to present their case for a Chapter endorsement. Candidates are then evaluated for their environmental commitment and are endorsed for office only if they meet Chapter endorsement criteria. Our endorsement allows candidates to differentiate themselves from their opponents as well as provide guidance to the environmental voter. Often, our endorsement may prove the critical difference in close races.
